Interdepartmental Program in Afro-American Studies: Admissions


UCLA AFRO-AMERICAN STUDIES M.A. PROGRAM – NO MORE PAPER APPLICATIONS

 

There are no more paper applications. When you fill out your online application, please do the following:

 

1.                 As you fill out the application, print out each page, one at a time. You will want to keep a copy for future reference.

2.                 Also, there are several sheets of which you must submit paper copies with your supplemental materials to us.

3.                 The pages you will fill out, print, and send to us include:

1.                 Statement of Purpose

2.                 Supplemental Information

3.                 Diversity Fellowship (double-sided)

4.                 There are also pages you will fill out and print that go to others.  They include:

1.                 Letters of Recommendation (one goes to each professor, who will send along with the letter)

2.                 Transcript cover sheet

 

5.       If you want to check your (or show it to a professor) before you submit it, fill everything out but do not press “submit.” After you have double-checked everything, then go back and submit.
