Under the auspices of UCLA's Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies, Bunche Center Publications, formerly CAAS Publications, produces quality books, monographs, and other publications relevant to the culture and history of people of African descent. Since 1980, the division has developed five publications series through which over 47 titles have been published:
· CAAS AFRO-AMERICAN CULTURE AND SOCIETY: present
studies in the social sciences and humanities
· CAAS SPECIAL PUBLICATIONS: includes conference
proceedings and works of artistic or technical nature
· CAAS URBAN POLICY SERIES: presents research
and opinion on urban issues relevant to African Americans and
other American ethnic minorities
· CAAS COMMUNITY CLASSICS: reprint series of
notable works in African-American Studies
· MINORITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERIES: provides a forum for research and writing on minority entrepreneurship and economic development issues
